How should I start off with my post? ok nevermind. I'll just say whatever I want here.
As from Clarence's blog some of the secondary 3 students went for the Outward-Bound Singapore camp(OBS) i was one of them, clarence, hong zhang and leon i bet that no one was missing me anyway but anyways it was exhilirating and exhausting at the same time for more details you also can go to Clarence's blog cos' it's about the same
during the 5 days camp however what lessons i learnt from this camp, differs from clarence a lot i did gain some physical strength definetly (: but i did gain my most important lesson that is,the lesson of friendship and lots of stuff too
1st lesson: though i can say the camp will really push you to the limits and sometimes i do feel it and i really wanted to go back to singapore our team struck out and stuck throughout the 5 days it's a memorable experience not to be forgotten the teamwork, the tears(ahhas:D i know who!) and the trust bonds between each one of us after the 5 days almost everyone in our "Nila Utama" group we were all really good friends in 82 hours (:
i'll put my team members' names here: boys: marcus, ken lim,ken yap, julian, zhen ling, afiq and aqil girls: li ying, eugenia, mei jin,jia ru and seri
2nd lesson: never go without a sunlotion at an OBS camp cause if you do,you'll become a phillipino like me and worst thing is the skin just feels itchy and painfully adapted ):
3rd lesson: do not try kayaking in the sea for 5.5 hours or you'll have muscles cramps like some of us in our team lucky i recovered fast after a night of good sleep
4th lesson: when you're carrying a haversack try to wear a life vest it makes it much lighter [Coach Bernard only told me on the 4th day! And I carried the "feels-like* 30kg of haversack for 4 days 3 nights! Not fair..): ]
5th lesson: never make jokes that are not funny your group will want to beat you up XD *if they're in a bad mood*
6th lesson: (delicated to choir) must always cherish choir while you can or not you'll always want to jump off the jetty like me (:
anyway enough of the so-called lessons :D
thank you coach bernard and (bb)? for teaching us a lot of valuable lessons during our camp i really, really aprecciate it thank you for everything if not for you wonderful coaches, and my wonderful team nila utama i think i'll have not survived my ordeals and pick up indirect lessons in reality i should learn to learn especially to trust and cherish my friends more day by day
I LOVE YOU NILA UTAMA! (: WANNA MEET UP SOME DAY??
